Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone with more fire than a diamond. It is harder than sapphire, so it keeps its sparkle for years.

- Stone: lab-grown moissanite. It bends light more than a diamond, so it shows more fire and colour.
- Hardness: 9.25 on the Mohs scale, just under diamond. It will not cloud or scratch with daily wear.
- Metal: 925 sterling silver with white gold (rhodium) plating, or 18K gold plating on gold pieces.
- Hypoallergenic for most skin types.

- Mark where it overlaps.
- Lay it flat and measure the length in millimetres. That is your circumference.
Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are slightly bigger. Between two sizes? Go for the larger one.
